Dimension 8200 as Server

My old Dimension 8200 workhorse is now out to pasture as the server system. It acts as internet router and firewall as well as file server to the home LAN. Click on any image for an enlarged view.

front view The system sits forlorn with only the DSL bridge and outlet strip showing in the picture. There's also a UPS.
remote desktop No keyboard, monitor, or mouse on this system! Access is via Windows Remote Desktop. The picture here shows the server's desktop in the midst of my new system's desktop.
rear view Rear view of system showing all the PCI slots but one are occupied. Not as much on the motherboard of this system. This system has two network cards, not a network card and a modem. The old Nvidia video card shown in the picture has been replaced with a Matrox, not that it matters since nothing is connected to it. The sound card has been removed to save power (no speakers on this system anyway!) I haven't tried it, but assume the system won't boot up without a video card.
inside view Inside view looking down at motherboard. This was taken when system was new.
inside view Inside view showing drive cages. Second hard drive has been installed.
